Workshop on Cutting Edge Computing

International Conference on High Performance Computing (HiPC 2006)

The half-day workshop will feature invited and regular presentations from experts in areas such as Emerging Architecture, Future of CMOS and alternative technologies, Supercomputing, Networking, Autonomic Computing and Systems Management, Pervasive Computing, etc. The goal is to bring to the attention of researchers, scientists and practitioners, recent R&D advances in computing technologies that are expected to dominate the future of computing and stimulate discussions and highlight Cutting Edge Technologies in the area of High Performance Computing.

 

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Supercomputing / Grid Computing / Autonomic Computing
  • Advanced Algorithms
  • Data mining in Scientific Computing area
  • Compiler Optimizations
  • Scientific Computing
  • Client side Computing
  • Scientific applications in emerging areas like life sciences, digital entertainment etc.
  • Advances in Computer Architecture for parallelism

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Interested authors should submit an electronic version of the manuscript in PDF or postscript format. Submitted papers should not exceed 10 pages in length. The manuscript should be sent by email to [email protected] with the subject “HiPC 2006 workshop submission”.

All submissions will be reviewed by the program committee. Each accepted paper must be presented at the workshop. Each unpublished accepted paper will appear in the workshop proceedings.


IMPORTANT DATES

Submission deadline:                September 15, 2006

Acceptance notification:            October 15, 2006

Camera-ready version due:        October 31, 2006
