Call For Workshops
32nd IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing, Data, & Analytics

The 32nd annual IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing, Data, and Analytics (HiPC 2025) will take place in Hyderabad from December 17 to 20, 2025. In addition to the main technical program, HiPC 2025 will feature a set of workshops that expand the conference’s scope by exploring emerging topics in high performance computing, networking, data analytics, and their applications.
Workshops will be held on the first day of the conference (December 17). Most workshops are expected to run as half-day sessions (3 to 3.5 hours), although proposals for full-day workshops (6 to 7 hours) are also welcome. Workshops may take one of two formats:
- Mini-conference style, including peer-reviewed contributed papers and optional components such as keynote talk, invited talks, poster sessions, and panel discussions.
- Symposium style, focused on interactive sessions without formal proceedings, emphasizing deeper engagement and focused discussions.
For workshops with proceedings, organizers are responsible for issuing a call for papers (CFP), coordinating the review process, and ensuring each submission is reviewed by at least three experts in accordance with IEEE and HiPC guidelines. Accepted papers will be published in a dedicated HiPC Workshops (HiPCW 2025) proceedings volume, assigned its own ISBN, and made available online unless otherwise requested. Eligible papers will also be included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library after the conference.
Note: All accepted papers must be presented in person by an author at the conference. Virtual presentations will not be permitted. Additionally, each accepted paper must be supported by a full registration for the main conference. All workshop participants are required to register for HiPC 2025.
We particularly encourage proposals for symposium-style workshops, as HiPC aims to increase their representation in the program. These workshops typically feature invited presentations, roundtables, or other formats that foster community interaction and collaboration.
As a courtesy, the conference will provide one complimentary registration per workshop to support participation by a keynote or invited speaker.

Proposals must clearly articulate the workshop’s purpose, technical relevance, and application areas, along with specific plans for attracting high-quality submissions and speakers.
Workshop Themes:
Prospective HiPC 2025 workshop organizers are invited to submit a proposal that includes the elements listed below. Proposals should also describe plans for building a high-quality program committee and attracting strong submissions to ensure the workshop is competitive on an international scale.
Note: If proposing a full-day workshop, organizers must explain how they intend to attract sufficient participation and submissions to support a full-day schedule of peer-reviewed content.
Each proposal (max. 3 pages) should include:
- Workshop Description: Title, topics to be addressed, goals, and the relevance and significance to HiPC 2025.
- Organizers’ Information: Names, affiliations, contact details, and brief bios highlighting relevant expertise and experience with organizing similar events.
- Workshop History (if applicable): Details of previous editions, including years held, past attendance, and outcomes.
- Submission and Review Strategy (for workshops with proceedings): Plans for soliciting paper submissions, description of the peer-review process (at least three reviewers per paper), and measures to ensure high quality and relevance of accepted contributions.
- Tentative Keynote/Invited Speakers: Names of proposed or confirmed keynote/invited speakers.
- Program Structure: Preliminary agenda detailing session types (e.g., paper presentations, panels, invited talks, poster sessions, and discussion forums).
